Jays Win 8-6: Big Win Boys

I guess this is the Jays we should get used to seeing this year. Giving up some runs, and then putting them back up with our blistering hot bats. Hopefully we can stay hot for a while, which could mean big things for this years Jays.

Big ups today to B.J. Ryan. After a few shaky starts, I was able to see a glimpse of the old bulldog we remember. He started out 0-2 on the first 3 batters he faced. Both hits we saw were sliders out of the zone that were put in play, but nothing to worry about. He was in the zone, and his speed was close to what we payed for when we signed him to that hefty 5 year contract.

Snider proved me wrong today, showing that he does deserve to be in the bigs. He hit is 2nd and 3rd bombs of the year, both no doubters.

Lind was able to keep up tonight going 2/5, but I was upset to see him strand 4 base runners tonight. Twice faced with runners on 2nd and 3rd, 2 out, and both times he got out, grounding out weakly and striking out.

All in all though, I love to see the fight in these boys, they've definitely picked up the pace from last year. We keep up this hitting, and somehow manage to come close to our pitching staffs performance from last year, and you have the making of a Cinderella story. Rays Part 2?

Keep it up, and we could see big things
